New Longer Life AC-DC Converters Ideal for Lighting Industry

Aimtec just released longer life AC-DC regulated converters, which are available in 1, 2 and 3 watt configurations and packaged in a miniature size of only 1.46 x 0.96 x 0.71 inches (37.00 x 24.50 x 18.00mm). The 3 new series, AME1-NJZ, AME2-NJZ and AME3-NJZ, were designed without the use of electrolytic capacitors.

Key features include:

Input / Output isolation of 3000 VAC, over current protection
Continuous short circuit protection
Energy Star compliant (no-load power consumption less than
0.3 watt for 1 and 2 W series and =0.4 watts for 3 W series)

Test equipment
Laboratories
Water dispensers
Security systems
Electric vehicle battery charging systems
Electrical metering
High voltage PSUs

Available in 5, 12 and 24 VDC output ranges, with input range of 165-264VAC, 47 to 63Hz or 233 to 370 VDC, all models operate from -40ºC to 70ºC without de-rating.
