Aimtec just released longer life AC-DC regulated converters, which are available in 1, 2 and 3 watt configurations and packaged in a miniature size of only 1.46 x 0.96 x 0.71 inches (37.00 x 24.50 x 18.00mm). The 3 new series, AME1-NJZ, AME2-NJZ and AME3-NJZ, were designed without the use of electrolytic capacitors.

The AM6CW-FZ series is the newest addition to Aimtec’s 6 Watt DC to DC converter product line. This new converter is UL listed, operates with an ultra wide input of 4:1 (9-36, 18-75VDC) input ranges and is housed in a miniature 1x1 inch package. This versatile product is feature rich with input to output isolation of 1500 VDC, plus continuous short circuit protection, over voltage protection, over load protection, remote on / off control feature, plus with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (with derating starting at 60°C for 3.3 and 5V models and 70°C for all other models).

Aimtec 2 Watt DC-DC converter features continuous short-circuit protection and wider ambient temperature range

Aimtec has unveiled their latest in their series of DC-DC unregulated converters the AM2DS-NZ, 2-W series. The AM2DS-NZ features continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery restart. The restart feature will work continuously until the short-circuit condition is cleared protecting the converter, the load and the converter’s input circuit and source from extremely high currents caused by output short circuits.
